About

Sam Moran is an award-winning artist, father, and proud kid at heart, having dedicated his life to creating music that entertains, engages, and empathizes with children. He ensures that his music reflects a child's worldview, providing them a voice, but also remains music that parents can enjoy alongside them.

Born in Sydney, Australia, Sam's musical journey began at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where he studied Music Education with a Classical Voice major, until a serendipitous audition led him to join The Wiggles in 1998; ultimately becoming their lead singer & "Yellow Wiggle," in 2006.

During his tenure, Sam contributed to 10 albums and 13 DVDs, various specials, and TV series, while touring worldwide and performing 18 sold-out shows at the legendary Madison Square Garden.

In 2011, Sam earned a spot in the ARIA Hall of Fame, after having garnered five ARIA Awards. Stepping out as a solo artist in 2012, he starred, hosted, and produced four seasons of a program for Nickelodeon Australia's Play Along With Sam. Through this, he was nominated for multiple TV Week Logie Awards and ARIA Music Awards, with his solo work, Play Along With Sam: Boo!, winning the 2015 ARIA Award for "Best Children's Album."

Now, Sam brings his uplifting and fun message to a series of 2023 singles and his forthcoming debut album with Republic Records: Kids & Family. Fluent in the language of children, Sam Moran's unique vision and heartfelt performances captivate young audiences, creating memorable experiences for families worldwide.

“When launching Republic Kids I knew I had to sign Sam as an artist ... He is the perfect complement to our mission of producing world-class music that can be enjoyed by both kids and their parents. Sam's musical talents are beloved by so many, and these new efforts will help to redefine the future of 'kids' music.”
